Medication

Please do not send any medication, not even Tylenol, to school for your child to take unsupervised. A pill that is safe for one child may not be safe for another if they picked it up. Fill in a medication form in the office if medication is necessary and it will be dispensed in the office.

DPA - Daily Physical Activity
SJM Council Meeting

This year, the school will be implementing 20 minutes of "Daily Physical Activity" on days when Phys. Ed. is not scheduled. This is happening in all Ontario elementary schools, as part of the Ministry's "Healthy Schools" program. Studies show that Daily Physical Activity leads to:

Social, academic and health benefits, improved memory, concentration and communication, increased problem solving, creativity and leadership abilities, attitude, discipline and behavior improvements, and enhanced future health and well-being.

Students will be engaged in various physical activities inside the classroom or outside, daily. Developing the habit of daily physical activity will help our children become more active, healthy, and fit adults.
